Why We Exist:
The purpose of technology and the digital space is to improve productivity and make life easier. Whenever this is not achieved, it means that we are abusing the essence of being in a digital era. Digital wellbeing is a concept of building balance between our offline and online lives as we interact within and outside the digital space.
It is important to note as Jillian C. York rightly stated, we can’t rely on technology (alone) to mitigate the harms of technology (In the case that technology has been abused), we must look at our educational, political, economic systems, etc.- therein lie the solutions. Bringing this education to you and ensuring we stay digitally healthy- is why we exist.
